Why “El Castillo”?
Our name comes from Aguas Mansas Castle, Agoncillo’s medieval fortress (13th–14th centuries), about 400 metres from the house: a five-minute walk along the same street, Calle la Ermita. Today it is the village town hall and can be visited.

Passes by the door
The long-distance trail that follows the Ebro from source to delta runs along Calle la Ermita itself: west to Logroño or east through orchards and riverside woods to Arrúbal and Alcanadre. The Ebro Way of St James and the Ignatian Way also pass through Agoncillo.

See them all on GoogleAn amazing property in a lovely, quiet Spanish town. Super well equipped and comfortable property, in a friendly and relaxed location. Yordi was amazing and of great assistance. An ideal location to base yourself for touring Logroño, Pamplona and Rioja region. Bowling and karting close by for kids and only 5 mins to the excellent Wurth Museum art gallery. Be sure to visit the village itself.
Amazing place, perfectly surrounded by places to visit and nature. The host was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. Agoncillo is really cool and also very close to other lovely places to visit. The house was a 10/10. We’ll definitely be back!
We came back this year, thank you so much for everything! We had a wonderful few days as a family. The house was large (for 8 people and a dog) and very clean, with very comfortable beds.
A beautiful house in the center of town, modern, with everything you need and very well maintained. The hostess helped us with everything during our stay: excursions, transfers, places of interest... what we enjoyed most was the guided tour of the castle and the church of Agoncillo.
